Just got back from Cheers (the one on Maryland and Harmon, not the one in the airport.) The bartender asked me to come to his bbq night when I was there last time. I responded with some obvious vegetarian vitriol, but he had a good come back - he serves quite a few vegans every night. I paid $5 for a plate of tofu marinated in italian spices, butternut squash, rice pilaf, half a baked potato, and vegan cowboy-style baked beans. Yum! I had an Alaskan Amber Ale to wash it down.
